Libri Grant Books Arrive!

The Ashland Library received 68 new children’s books with a grand total value of $1,061.53.   The Ashland Library and its patrons are grateful for the assistance of the Libri Foundation, the Catherine Klinger Memorial and the community members who helped make this wonderful addition to the library possible.

The Libri Foundation is a nationwide non-profit organization that donates new, quality children’s books to small, rural libraries through a 2-to-1 ratio matching funds grant.  Matching funds were donated by the Catherine Klinger Memorial Fund and community funds raised at the library book sale.

On Friday, October 31, storytimers joined Khrista Branson at the Ashland Library to enjoy spooky good tales and crafts.  Storytimers also stopped to look over the new books from the Libra Foundation.
