The Ashland City Library received a KHC Heritage Grant for “The 2017 Starbuck Fire and its Effect on the People of Clark County,” an oral history project to transcribe and preserve the stories of firefighters, evacuees, farmers, ranchers, and survivors of Kansas’ largest grassland fire.
